Craig Cronheim
Seniod Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, CarMax
Craig Cronheim is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at CarMax. Craig has been at CarMax since 2007 in a variety of Legal, Asset Protection, and Human Resources roles. Craig also served on the board of the CarMax Foundation from 2014-2019, including as president from 2016-2018.
Prior to CarMax, Craig worked as an attorney at the firms Hogan Lovells and Hunton Andrews Kurth. He also teaches as an adjunct instructor at Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business.
Craig holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Richmond and earned a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School. He loves to run and hike the James River trails, train for the CarMax Richmond Half Marathon with the Sports Backers Half Marathon Training Team and play basketball with his sons. “I’m so excited to be involved with Sports Backers because it leads the way on two things that are so important to me – creating opportunities for healthy outdoor activity, and promoting a thriving Richmond community.”
