Beth Shivak
Senior Vice President, Head of Corporate Communications, Atlantic Union Bank
Beth Shivak is the Senior Vice President, Head of Corporate Communications at Atlantic Union Bank where she provides top-level strategic communication direction and implementation, including public relations and media relations, enterprise-wide communications, executive communications, crisis management and social media. She serves as a mentor through the Emerge program, a company-wide program that focuses on self-development and career exploration and is a founding member of Atlantic Union Bank Women’s Inclusion Network. Her passion for supporting women led to her nominations in 2021 and 2022 for the American Banker Top Women in Banking Team Award. Beth was a 2022 graduate and class president of Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
As part of the Richmond Performing Arts Alliance (RPAA), Beth is an active member of the PR committee and is a member of the board of directors. Beth is an avid marathon runner and IronMan triathlete, she’s participated in 32 marathons and half marathons in Rome, Barcelona, and Jamaica and conquered IronMan races throughout the country and even as far as New Zealand. Recently, Beth took the reins of a new sport – horseback riding.
Beth holds a bachelor of arts in communications with a concentration in public relations and a master of business administration from Cleveland State University. Although an Ohio native, Beth considers RVA home.
