Henrico's First Bike Lane!

Last week, Henrico County striped its first official bike/walk lane!

The 1.5-mile beauty (pictured above) is located on Park Terrace Drive, in the Wellesley neighborhood of western Henrico.

This is big news, and in addition to new sidewalk construction, the County administration’s pledge to allocate $12.5 million to biking and walking projects over the next five years, the recently passed bond referendum that will add to the County’s growing park system (including trails), and the 14 miles of the Virginia Capital Trail in eastern Henrico, there’s lots to be excited about!
