Sports Backers, Lyft Announce Multi-Event On-Demand Transportation Partnership for 2018-19

RICHMOND, VA – Lyft announced on Tuesday a multi-event partnership with Sports Backers for the 2018/2019 season as the official on-demand transportation partner. The sponsorship features eight events from August 2018 through July 2019, including the Anthem Richmond Marathon, Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k presented by Kroger, Dominion Energy Riverrock and more.

This innovative partnership aims to streamline the travel options for Sports Backers’ events through the ease and convenience of on-demand transportation. Designated pick-up and drop-off locations will be available for each event, as well as event-specific promo codes, helping to alleviate travel challenges for local and out-of-town participants.
