Bike Safety Trainings for RVA Bike Month
For RVA Bike Month, Bike Walk RVA is pleased to host three one-hour conversations on safe and enjoyable biking, including practical advice on riding comfortably, safely, and legally. Additional tips about how to commute to work effectively, how to drive safely around people biking and walking, basics on gear choices, and other information about the benefits of biking. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion to personalize the session to the participants. Beginners are encouraged to attend, and experienced riders may still learn something while adding their own advice to the conversation.
All three events, each hosted at a local public government office, are open to city/county employees and to community members! Help us celebrate RVA Bike Month by joining and bringing a friend!
Bring your lunch and join us! We’ll also bring some snacks.
