Event Overview
This event is a one-of-a-kind networking opportunity! Teams are treated to a pre-race warm-up before the 5k begins. Following the run or walk, individuals can head into the Hirschler Post Race Office Party to cash in their drink ticket for a complimentary beer or wine. To top it all off, a DJ is responsible for keeping the crowd pumped before, during, and after the 5k!

Benefitting Fit4kids
Support Greater Richmond Fit4Kids in promoting healthy lifestyles for children by donating through the Markel Corporate Run. The team with the highest average donations by May 31st wins the coveted Charity Cup trophy.

How Do I create a team?
You can create and set up a team through the registration page. You can decide whether to cover the full registration fee, a portion of it, or have employees pay their own entry.

How Does Team Scoring work?
How Does the Team Scoring work?
A company must have a minimum of four full time employees and a CEO to submit a scorecard. Scorecards can be entered in the following categories to be eligible for scoring:
- Men’s Team – 4 men
- Women’s Team – 4 women
- Mixed Team – 2 men and 2 women

Awards
A little friendly-competition is good for the soul! Teams can compete for top honors in 12+ different industry categories. The top male, female, and coed team in each of the categories will earn bragging rights and will be featured in our Official Recap Email. Awards also go to the top male and female finisher and CEO Challenge winners. For teams less focused on finish times, give the Charity Cup Challenge a go! Packet Pick-up
Each Team Captain must pick up his or her team’s race packets during one of the designated times. Individuals may also pick up their packet up at these times. A photo ID is required for individual packet pick up. You may pick up a packet for someone else as well, provided you have a copy of their photo ID.
