Course
The Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k begins on Broad Street near Harrison Street and ends on Franklin Street near Monroe Park. Water stops, stocked with water and POWERade, will be positioned near miles 2, 3, 4 and 5 along the course and at the Finish. Port-o-johns will be stationed at the Start, Finish and each water stop. Medical support provided by Bon Secours will be available along the course and at the Finish.

The new Kids Run course starts on Cathedral Place and goes up Park Avenue to Lombardy Street, around Stuart Circle and down Franklin Street to Monroe Park, finishing at the same place as the 10k.

Wave Starts
Wave Starts will again be used for the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k. Participants start in waves with others of the same general speed. Waves will be assigned based on the predicted time you list on your completed entry form. Walkers will all be placed in a wave and will begin after the last runners have started.

Event Day Parking
Free parking is available on streets throughout the area.  We strongly recommend going east of Belvidere to find on-street and surface lot parking.

Paid parking ($5 per vehicle) is available in the parking decks located at 1111 W. Broad Street (between Shafer and Harrison streets), at 801 W. Main Street (between Laurel and Cherry streets) and at 609 Bowe Street (next to the Siegel Center).

Please note that Broad Street (between Belvidere and Lombardy) and Franklin Street/Monument Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic on race morning. To access the above parking decks, please use:

• Broad Street deck: Belvidere to Grace Street (between Broad and Franklin). West on Grace Street. Entrances to deck are located on Shafer Street (3rd right) and Harrison Street (4th right).
• Main Street deck: Belvidere to Main Street. West on Main Street. An entrance to the deck is located on Laurel Street (2nd left). If coming east on Cary Street, and entrance to the deck is located on Cherry Street.
• Bowe Street deck. Leigh Street to Bowe Street (one block east of Lombardy). South on Bowe Street to parking deck located at southeast corner of Bowe and Marshall Streets.

Directions to the finish at Monroe Park:

• From the North & West:  Take I-95/64 South/East to exit 76B.  Turn left off the exit ramp on to Leigh Street.  Turn right at the first traffic light on to Belvidere Street heading South.  Monroe Park is 5 blocks ahead on the right at the intersection with Franklin Street.

• From the South:  Take I-95 North to exit 74A on to the Downtown Expressway.  Go one half mile and take Belvidere Street exit.  At first traffic light, make a right on to Belvidere Street.  Monroe Park is three blocks ahead on your left.

• From the East:  Take I-64 West to I-95 South to exit 74A on to the Downtown Expressway.  Go one half mile and take Belvidere Street exit.  At first traffic light, make a right on to Belvidere Street.  Monroe Park is three blocks ahead on your left.
